Crimson Colleagues continue the tradition of giving to the programs they love!
The Aggie Cupboard is the on-campus food pantry for NMSU students, faculty and staff. It assists in feeding anywhere from thirty to fifty people a week! Today’s students face many challenges to completing their degrees and achieving academic success. Lori Martinez, the NMSU social worker who also staffs the Aggie Cupboard, believes that hunger shouldn’t be one of them.
When NMSU employees make charitable gifts to the cupboard, they have a significant impact on the well-being and success of students. Lori hopes that by eliminating a significant source of stress in the lives of students, Aggie Cupboard donors are also increasing the likelihood that students will complete their degrees.
“The Aggie Cupboard is making a real difference to a lot of people,” she said. “I am glad that it is one of the programs that are supported by the NMSU Crimson Colleagues.”
